Who I Am

​Hey, nice of you to join.
I'm happy to meet you. I'm Yair. I live in Israel, and I work as a tour guide and a rappelling instructor, but on the thru-hikes, I'm a hiker.
In the past few years, I'm studying Land of Israel Studies for my bachelor's and master's degrees, so you can probably figure I find Israel interesting and exciting.
I became a tour guide because I wanted to show other people the excitement of nature, the history of the land, and the people — the cultures. I wanted to give them the feeling of the ground and the rocks, the smell of the wet plants or the market's food, the sound of the church's bells, the taste of ice cream at the end of a trip.
